Things are weird. I left EB because of a huge, terrible situation in which they called me stupid and naive for trusting and believing in my staff. I have absolutely no respect for the company anymore, and it hurts me inside.

I have another job lined up, though, as a receptionist/administrative assistant for a pharmacutical company. Its a paycut, which sucks, but its 9-5 on weekdays and I'll have my weekends off which is nice and gives us the opportunity to visit Tampa on weekends if we feel like it. I start there on Monday.

...unless something happens today, as I have an interview at 2 for a receptionist/administrative assistant at a yacht place. You know, just in case they pay more.

We had company last night, and it was amazing. It's been so long since we've been social and I really like the couple (one of my co-workers and his girlfriend). Gods they were here until 2AM! It was great

Ha, haven't updated this in awhile.

Working a lot.. today is my first day off in 6 days. Having Monday and Tuesday or Sunday and Tuesday off every week is nice... but then I go a long time without a day off. And this week was particularly bad because I've been sick. So not fun.

Other than that, we're going out tomorrow to buy the boi a new car since his was totaled in an accident a few weeks ago. That should be fun--only not.

Trying to draw more... trying to finish a project I've been trying to do for awhile now. But its hard because my stupid hands don't do what my brain is telling them too... the 'artist's dillema', I suppose.

Anyway. I'm heading back to the couch. XD Argh, I need to finish those commissions too!

Ha! After almost two weeks of waiting thanks to UPS screwing up, my Nintendo DS is finally here! And its a blue one, of course, and I can play Nintendogs since I was super!smart and convinced myself to buy it before it got virtually impossible to find. So now I have a husky named Cain Cause I am a dork like that. (nods)

In other news I found out my Christmas schedule... between Thanksgiving and Christmas I'm required to work 6 days a week, 8 hours of overtime a week (time and a half, w00t thats $18/hour) and I'm absolutely not allowed to request any days off. Looks like we won't be coming home from Christmas .-.;

Hmmm in other news my birds laid eggs the other week but seeing as how I can't POSSIBLY have baby birds (and judging by how the eggs looked I don't think they would've hatched anyway) I had to remove them from the cages. Dammit, birds, you were both supposed to be male >>

Annnnd thats about all for now as I have to start getting ready to leave for work. Waaah!

So work is going well, but my body is not used to working 40 hours a week. But the guys I work with are fantastic, and I never dread the thought of going to work. And thats always a good thing.

I, however, need to get back into drawing. I managed to pump out two pages of Eating Butterflies, but they need to be colored. And I still have commissions to do!! Ugh I suck.

My mom and grandma (and possibly my dad) are coming to visit next weekend. And my apartment still looks like shit. So thats our goal for tomorrow when I have off--to get rid of these boxes and all that junk.

Okay so we moved. Yay!

Tomorrow I should be starting my job as an assistant manager at EB Games This is a good thing.

My car, however, died on the way here and it's costing about $1800 to get it fixed. (Keep in mind I paid $2000 for the car like 3 months ago). So that sucks.
